Whoah. My M-reg Renault Savanna 1.7 costs roughly ?60 to fill the
tank, currently I have about 270 miles on the trip counter and more
than a quarter of a tank left.

Currently I have to start the car by hitting the starter solenoid
repeatedly with a hammer, then I use a bit of old speaker wire between
the solenoid terminal and the battery to try it, to save me having to
walk all the way round the car each time. I went to Morrisons this
evening and it took three attempts of bashing and trying the wire
before it started.
