I'm starting to doubt my memory now. I'm fairly certain the Rover needs
filling twice going from Sheffield to Tarland, about 350miles. I don't
know the tank size, but it takes ?60 of petrol at ?1.20 per litre, so
that's ?120/?1.20 = 100l per 350miles = 22gal per 350 miles = 16mpg.
A full tank of petrol does form 1/2 the value of the entire car, though!
