Yeah, like the British could hold their heads up... We've our own share 
of invasions (and having been invaded, though God knows why the UK is 
such a desirable place - crappy climate), and isn't Her Majesty of 
German ancestry? Something glossed over with assuming the Windsor name, 
nevermore evident than WW2, what with Das Krauts [*] being the enemy and 
all.

Oh, and since this is so far off topic as to set the V flag, could I ask 
if there is actually anybody who gives a you-know-what that 'im and 'er 
are now engaged? I mean, woo. Big deal. It's a bunch of photo ops, to be 
followed in a year by an over-the-top wedding that the common folk will 
no doubt eventually end up paying for...
