I don't always post here, I enjoy reading this mailing list. But these  
sort of "Ban Off topic posts" topics annoy me, so in the vote, I've  
voted NO.

To date, I've yet to find a mailing list that stays 100% on topic.

In fact I welcome some off-topic discussion from Beeb users, as  
sometimes they may be talking about a topic when their opinion may  
have been influence from using the Beeb years ago.

To me, I've always happy to see the [OT] and I feel I'm smart enough  
to either ignore or contribute to the OT discussion.

If you can't ignore the OT discussion, my suggestion would be to  
un-subscribe from the list, and all the other mailing list. As I said  
at the start, I've yet to find a mailing list that stays 100% on topic.
