Well, the Beeb that I used for many years had speech, Econet (including
terminator and clock, as it was an Issue 3) three floppies (1 x 40/80, 1
x 40 and 1 x 80-track), a 6502 and a Z80 co-pro (switched), a
fully-populated ATPL ROM card, a winchester, teletext, an EPROM
programmer, a modem, some gubbins hooked to the analogue port, and
probably more that I've forgotten. It also had a fan in a casing
designed to fit the slot on the back, and driven by a relay inside the
Beeb :-)
