Seriously though, things are pretty quiet at the company I work for too. 
We've just switched to longer hours for four days a week. I just think 
few interesting things happen in January/February. It's the end of 
winter, everybody is fed up, and Spring isn't here yet [*] so... things 
are just really quiet... here and there, now and then.

* - Celandines blossoming, catkins out, one Japonica flower out with 
more on the way, apple and almond buds dangerously close to being big 
enough to flower... it won't be long now, thank God.
