I'll be doing more with repointing the end wall. Problem is, it is a 
*big* wall, would cost a ton to have done, and given some of the flaky 
masonry I've seen, I'd like to know if it is a crap job then it's a crap 
job *I* did, which somehow seems more tolerable than a crap job I paid 
for...

...however, the stuff I put on two years ago has held well, looks good, 
isn't falling off...

I think "building stuff" and "fixing stuff" appeals to practically every
