As far as I know, all of China uses one uniform time zone, UTC+8. It means
in the western parts of the country, the local time differs 2-3 hours from
the nearest neighbours in north, south and west. Imagine that on the border
between Pakistan and China, the sun rises and sets three hours earlier on
the Chinese side, only due to differences in time zone!
