Try some international channels?

Oh, where to begin...

Digital TV *can* allow for monitoring of everything you look at, but you
would need a receiver with a modem (or LAN connection) to make such a
thing possible.

However - customers have rights which forbid kit dialling out to
paid-for numbers, so to monitor your behaviour, a freephone number must
be provided. Sky does, for card verification. But the costs of calls and
such mean this isn't necessarily a viable option for snooping.
Ethernet is more practical, but it is fairly simple for a clued-up geek
to eavesdrop on the line, see what ports are being used (in the case of
SSL data) to firewall those connections. Personal security trumps
advertising requirements...

HOWEVER, you are worried about being tracked, yet you watch video
on-line. You probably already are, via Flash and Silverlight methods,
plus IP tracking.

Best wishes,

Rick.
