After emailing the seller to express my disdain, this was the response...

"Devalue it! I place no value on this old crap, going or not. It was one
step from the skip bin and I sure as he'll ain't going to waste my time
checking to see if any capacitors on the power rail are shorted!"

And to think _he_ is the one that is asking money for it?!?
