I and other members of stardot forums have previous bought items, had 
them delivered to our own address and then posted the item onwards to 
people abroad.

As long as you are willing to pay for the item and both lots of postage 
it is a way of getting stuff that sellers won't post abroad.

In cases like this it would be cheaper as well.
