Hi Rob,
Getting fault codes is todays lunchtime project (I?ve got the player at work).
Bought in a LCD tv and scart cable.
Thanks for the forum pointer, i think i have read some messages on the forum
before but not a member at the moment.
To be honest i?ve not done anything with BBC?s for years (been working on
a Powertran Cortex and a Microbox 2 on and off).
But, i?ve had an upgraded model A from new, and the Doomsday system stored
for around 25 years.
It was a article on Hackaday that prompted me to dig out the Laserdisc player.
Many thanks,
Jim

Definitely get the fault code ? you should be able to hook the player up
to a TV with SCART inputs. Also, if you don?t have a clear copy of the service
manual, I?ve got a CD with high quality scans somewhere.
If you?re not already a member, it may be worth joining the Stardot forum
(www.stardot.org.uk/forums) as there are a number of people on there with
Domesday setups and experience of fixing them. Mine was repaired at a Stardot
meet-up at the RISC OS Wakefield show a few years back...
Best wishes,
Rob
