Subject: Philips VP415,

I'll keep my fingers crossed, the digital and power supply side i'm fine
with.
If it starts getting into minor faults on the analog side i may get stuck.

Jim

I've worked on about 6 of these over the last couple of years.
Even with the service manual, they can be very tricky to get
working as faults often end up being "whac-a-mole" as another
appears when you fix one.
Some faults are almost impossible to fix without specialist
spares as there are numerous custom parts.
Fixing individual boards is slow going unless you have the
riser cards to be able to probe whilst there is a disc in it.

Good luck
