Subject: MEX error recovery

I am unable to recover from errors sending from MEX10 in batch mode
to a DEC-20 running BILLW's modem v 4(316)-7 at 4800 baud.
MEX times out with 10 retires at the first sign of the DEC rejecting
a packet.
Has anyone else experienced bad error recovery?
