Subject: The Word: Specials.cmp ?

I STILL use my kaypro to run the Word (a spelling checker).
I normally use it just for letters, but lately I've been
writing some technical stuff.  I added a bunch of words to
the specials.cmp file, but TW still displays them as not
being correctly spelled.  

I've lost the manual.  Could someone who remembers, or 
still has their manual tell me how to deal with additional
dictionaries?

PS.  If you know of a MSDOS or UNIX spelling checker that
works like the word on cpm, I'd like to know about it.
