SPECIALS.CMP must be in alphabetical order.  THEWORD
includes the DICTSORT program to alphabetize lists.
Enter: DICTSORT SPECIALS.CMP to prep the list.  Your
original file is retained as SPECIALS.BAK.

THEWORD was available for MSDOS 1.0.  It runs in later releases
od MSDOS, but it does not recognize subdirectories.  I don't
know if a version of THEWORD was ever produced that supported
subdirectories.
