BBC/Electron/Master
On the unexpanded BBC series, 8+ colours are only available in MODE 2.

RISC OS
This is the canonical colour scheme where only flash is selectable.

Commodore 64
Background colour not selectable, the named colours are foreground colours. The actual C64 colours used are the closest fit to the RGBI specification.

ZX Spectrum
This is the canonical colour scheme where flash and bright are selectable, here flash swaps the foreground and the background.

DOS
This is the canonical colour scheme where flash and bright are selectable, here flash toggles the foreground, but the background can't be made bright.

CentOS ANSI Terminal
The canonical colour scheme where flash and bright are selectable, where flash toggles the foreground, and the background can be made bright. This is probably the fullest implementation.

BBFW
This is the canonial colour scheme where bright is selectable, bright background is selectable, and there is no flash.

Console Matrix Brandy Basic
This is another example of the canonial colour scheme where bright is selectable, bright background is selectable, and there is no flash.

SDL Matrix Brandy Basic
This appears to have bright and standard colours swapped.

Windows XP Console
Another example of the canonial colour scheme where bright is selectable, bright background is selectable, and there is no flash.

Winows XP ANSI Console
The Windows XP ANSI Console implements bright background, but also implements ANSI flash as a highlighted background.

Unix ANSI Console
This ANSI console does not implement bright background, but implements ANSI flash as a highlighted background.

Windows XP Console
This implementation has no bright background, and no flash.

E11 Console
A colour scheme for monochrome output with flash and bright selectable.

Electronica UKNC
The UKNC only supports RGB.
