Subject: Possible to scratch build a BBC?

Hi all,

Apologies if this has already been discussed on the list.

I was wondering if it is possible to build a BBC from scratch. There would
not be a problem getting a 6502, pair of 6522s, etc, but what about the more
obscure chips?

Also would it be possible to build a BBC on to an ISA or PCI card - the
screen, keyboard etc could be emulated by software on the PC. On the card
would be the various outputs which could be used to control hardware at
present controlled by a real beeb.

Any thoughts anyone?
