See http://www.mdfs.net/Software/BBCBasic/BBC
I have HiBASIC III there - BASIC III relocated to &B800. I'me sure I've
got BASIC III somewhere, bit I haven't quite tracked it down yet.

Contrary to a lot of publicly available assertions, the B+ was supplied
with BASIC II.

Whether a BASIC is assembled for &8000 or &B800 (HiBASIC) does not affect
the version numbers. In summary:
BASIC I 1981 Original BBC Microcomputer, some bugs
BASIC II 1982 Bugs fixed, OSCLI, EQUs and OPENIN/OUT/UP
HiBASIC II 1982 BASIC II relocted to &B800
BASIC III 1983 COLOR added.
HiBASIC III 1983 BASIC III relocated to &B800
BASIC IV 1984 Supplied with Master and early Compacts, TIME$, etc.
HiBASIC IV 1984 BASIC IV relocated to &B800
BASIC 40 1986 Supplied with Compacts
BASIC 41 1986 Supplied with later Compacts
BASIC 4.30 1987 Supplied with later Compacts
BASIC 4.32 1988 Supplied with Master MOS 3.50
BASIC V 1986 ARM code, supplied with ARM systems and later
BASIC VI 1986 ARM code, 64-bit floating point
