Subject: Squeaky CUB monitor

My CUB monitor, which was working fine until today, has started to make
a nasty-sounding squeaky buzzing noise. It does this when I switch it
on, and no picture appears except for a small white bit at the top
right.

The noise is very odd - it sounds a bit like someone playing a kazoo. It
certainly sounds bad!

Is there anything I can do to fix this, bearing in mind the dangerous
voltages inside?
