If it's been stored for some time with something sat on the
keyboard some contacts may have stuck closed. This happened to one
of my Compacts, which has a membrane keyboard. Most of it was
fixed by the above type of cleaning, and by tapping firmly on each
key several times.
 
I can't advise on if peeling the membrane apart is suitable on the
A3000 as I've never done that.
