I thought it was curious that the author claimed the Beeb could only count
up to 32767 as typing in 32768 gives a syntax error - I thought he would have
been able to distinguish between the maximum line number the BASIC interpreter
can
cope with and the biggest number the computer can generate, particularly as
he was said to be a software programmer.
And I always take exception to claims that the Beeb is obsolete - rumours of the
demise of the BBC Micro have been greatly exaggerated over the years!
