Subject: Master 512 boot problem

Hi,

I am trying to boot a Master 512 using a 3.5" floppy. The boot image I am
using comes from the DosPlus Boot Disc from the BeebEm emulator. I put that
image onto a 3.5" DD floppy, then booted the 512. On booting, it gets past
the Digital Research logo and tries to start COMMAND.COM at this point a
whole bunch of invalid op-code messages come up and then it tells me to
insert a disc with COMMAND.COM, but then doesn't actually try to read
anything else from that point on.

So, I tried downloading the disc images from cowsarenotpurple and this boot
disc gets me to the bit just before the DR logo and I get an error saying
the file 6502.sys is missing.

I suppose, my question is, can you boot a Master 512 from 3.5" floppies and
if not, how can I copy the DOS-Plus Boot Disc from 3.5" to 5.25" on a Beeb
that can't boot into DOS-Plus in order to use the disc utilities.

I've tried ADFS Backup, but it doesn't like the format saying the disc is
too large.

Can anyone help ?

Cheers

Dave
