Subject: BBC B micro repairs

My BBC B, which I use every week for bellringing has died!
Are there any experts on repairing them out there?

The program kept hanging up, when dotted white lines at 45 degrees
started going across the screen. I pressed all the socketed ic's down,
and suddenly the screen went blank.

When I turn it on I get the inital short bleep, but not the second
one, and no "Basic" appeared on the screen. But there is a flashing
cursor at the top left, but the keyboard doesn't do anything.

I took out all the socketed ic's and cleaned the pins and put them back.
No change.

I thought it must be a dry joint, so I took out the circuit board, and
resoldered the pins of all the sockets.
Still no change.

The power supply voltage is 5.2 volts.
I have swapped all the socketted ic's from another BBC. (IC14 is
soldered in on my board, but socketed in the one I am cannibalising.)

I have tried another keyboard with no success.

Has anyone any ideas?
I need to get it working again.
