Subject: Econet<>Ethernet, more distracting thoughts.

Hi Phil!

Been busy over the weekend myself.. Thinking (ah.. yes... too much.)
about IP over Econet, Econet over Econet (i.e. au naturel) on one hand,
then IP over ethernet, and econet over ethernet on the other. Which led
me to a conclusion. Its neither a repeater, bridge nor media convertor,
its a router. Sortof.. Unless it just takes econet packets at one side,
and spits them blindly out the other without seperating and converting
IP-over-Econet into IP-over-Ethernet, leaving that task to be done on
(i.e) a linux box.

Which brought to mind the notion of Econet-over-IP, which AFAIK doesn't
exist, but could be possibly be fun over long distances.
